Summer Night Of Love
Summer Night of Love - Poem By Cathy Nerujen
What do you do
when your heart’s in love –
when your life turns good -
and your soul sets free?
What should I do
with the girl who’s pure –
who shares my hopes –
and dreams my dreams?
Why do I sleep - at night
in bed – and I think of you
as you lie in wait –
what can we do -
now I have this dream –
of a love so true -
and you’re in my head?
When will I see the
girl I love - who’s
arms they wait -
and her lips so sweet –
how will she know this
heart I have – is
all for her - as I
palpitate.
I lie here still – with my
mind so wide – and my
eyes so wide –
and the air comes in –
I can smell her perfume
beyond the door – and she
waits for me -
with her soft smooth skin
and her deep dark eyes –
then her hips they move
and she comes right in.
You have come right in.
Music by Seigen Ono "I Think Of You"
I’ll kiss you love, on your
soft warm lips –
and your dimpled cheeks
and your so cute nose –
I will brush your hair
out from your eyes
as I take you in –
and the door will close.
Then we slip our clothes and
our garments off – as
we lie down – facing
on the bed – while the
softest rain sneaks past
the windows –drizzling
trickles down the pane.
Your dreamy body - soft to
the touch – with my fingers
sliding – oh so lightly
up along and around
your neck – as I pull
you in – and you want so much –
till our lips they lock –
and the light
turns off – and I
want you now.
Yes, I want you now...
Here in the dark of the
afterglow – the night it
answers sweet desires –
our passion loosed and
cannons shot – we quench
our hungers, dowse the fires –
then - arm in arm - and
cheek to cheek
our souls entwine –
then we fall asleep.
